Social responsibility

Following our hearts and trying to contribute to a better society comes naturally to us.

Since the start of Outmeals, social responsibility has been important to us, both on site, in the community and with our producers and suppliers. We regularly accept trainees, employ and recruit people with different types of disabilities with the aim of making these individuals feel included and have a richer life.

Our major commitments outside our daily work are donations to the Yellow Ribbon Association and membership of the UN Global Compact. We donate 1 SEK to the yellow ribbon for each sold combat portion (within Sweden), this money goes to support veterans after serving abroad, but has also contributed to building a veterans’ hospital in Ukraine.

Many of our products are manufactured outside Sweden, mostly in the EU but also in other parts of the world. It goes without saying that everyone who contributes to the products is treated fairly according to internationally accepted rules and standards. For this reason, we are members of the UN Global Compact, working towards the UN Global Goals and monitoring our producers to ensure that they comply with these rules.
