Freeze-dried foods

We offer freeze-dried foods with a very long shelf life, adapted for emergency preparedness and essential operations. The products are delivered in large packs with 18–25 portions per pack and have a shelf life of 25 years, which makes them well suited for warehousing and long-term planning.

The main courses are easily prepared with hot water and are ready in about 10–12 minutes. If there is no access to hot water, the main courses can also be prepared with cold water, in these situations the meal needs to stand and soak for about 60 minutes. Many of the breakfast dishes can also be eaten immediately after soaking with cold water, which makes it possible to quickly and easily provide meals in pressured situations. Being able to eat all of the golden jars with cold water makes the solution usable even in the event of a power or backup power failure.

The concept has been procured, completed and is being called for via a framework agreement with Adda, which means that most municipalities in Sweden as well as many government agencies and public companies are eligible for call-off. Freeze-dried foods are a proven system for emergency preparedness and are already used by a large number of municipalities around the country.

What do the icons mean?

Vegetarian

Each version of our combat rations has at least 4 vegetarian menus. One of our environmental goals is to have 50% vegetarian main meals. We can also produce vegan meals on request, but vegan meals are not included in our standard range of combat rations.

Gluten-free

Many of our end users are gluten intolerant and therefore we offer 4 regular gluten-free versions. Many of our meals are gluten-free, if you are unsure of the gluten content of our meals, just send an email or call.

Lactose-free

In many parts of the world, the population is more or less lactose intolerant, so it is important for us to offer different lactose versions of our battle rations. Our standard range consists of 4 menus of each version.
